Plate Heat Exchanger:
The plate heat exchanger is composed of metal bellows plates, with holes on metal plates, and the heat transfer is carried out by the two flowing liquids in these holes. The plate installed between a frame plate and a pressure plate, tightened with lock bolt. Seal gasket is installed on the plate, to seal the channel and guide the liquids into the channel alternately. The number of plates is determined by the physical properties, pressure drop and temperature of the liquids. The bellows on plate promote fluidity of liquids, and support the pressure drop on plate. It is used for cooling and heating of cleaning liquids and water for pharmacy and other fluid foods, as well as pasteurization in some application.
